Though nationally there is an easing of restrictions we have decided that at Longcauseway Church for the next few weeks we are going to remain cautious, we will keep socially distanced pews, wear face-coverings whilst moving around and singing, remove them when seated if happy to do so. We will monitor local infection rates and understand the thoughts and concerns of our members and friends.
Our mission is to convey faith, hope & love in Dewsbury
Longcauseway Church is a Christian church that is the home to both the United Reformed and the Methodist Church. Situated in Dewsbury town centre, we welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures and ages. We are a vibrant church committed to sharing the love of God. Whilst we uphold many traditions, we maintain a fresh approach that allows us to grow and bring our renewed vision for Christianity in Dewsbury (and surrounding areas) to fruition.
